ill take whatever techniques i can get. the more i have the more i can utilize. i might only use it once, but that one time might win me the fight or set me up to win the fight. I would never rely on a technique like this, but its not pointless to learn. i dont have to practice it everyday like i would the basics, but having more techniques then the other guy is not a bad thing.

dont be such an innocent u really believe u can drop ur bullshit and expect to be right?, full contact training is the train you need to fight ur high school mate, but in death/life situations, war hand to hand and real street fighting(never 1on1) the train you need is very diferent, and if ur stupidity got a limit wingchunfightclub org, is a club of WChuners wich aim their train to the ring and do so pretty well even when WC wasnt made it

correction:"dont"...and to explain it more...there are good traps in WC and JKD that are well working on the ground to trap your opponents hand to be able to hit him hard.just search it up and you'll see.

man, JKD and WC are contributing to MMA...there is a lot of useful stuff...search it up and do write nonsenses.

AhahahahahaEpic argumentative fail.Training for street is no different to training for a full-contact fight.
ilikeaeroplanejelly (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Well, as far as I can tell there isn't a single incident of it ever working in MMA, and I've never even heard of it working outside of full-contact competition either. So, I would say that even if it does work, it's a too low-percentage technique to bother utilising.

thank god there are still normal people.

dont be ridiculous, while MT, kickboxing, tae kwon do and so on are based on training to get better on a 1on1 competition with rules WC is based on fighting in the street, of course u need some sparring to correctly train wc but abusin of the rules and protections is a mistake, there is no dancing in WC there is no jumping arround u go fast to the closest oponent and dont stop till u beat him,to that u need kinda very diferent training, thats why WC guys training to tournaments change the footwork
