muay thai lost to kyokushin like 2/3 fights.. look up kyokushin's founder mas oyama.. undefeated.muay thai is a nice style.. but its made for close range.. kyokushin kept the muay thai guy back with basic kicks.

Tae Kwon Do is the answer.Karate has many big names such as Andy Hugh, Semmy Schilt, Glaube Feitosa, Francisco Filho, George Saint Pierre, they all have proven that Karate aint just no showoff.Look up Andy Hugh, one of the greatest ever in K-1.

even though the karate guy beat the drunken boxing guy, the karate guy is soo slow. bring in a muay thai or tkd guy and they will deliver 5 kicks before the karate guy knows what hit him
