If Chopin was alive today, because of his art, I'd have like 10 of his babies...that makes me a "fan" of his particular brand of "pop music". Further, I know a hell of a lot more about Mervin's life and music than most of his contemporaries, I win. These sweeping general assessments...Some folk's music I've reviewed practically chronologically as it first appeared. Which means, my understanding of the artist grows as the artist did, but in timelessness.Art should be timeless, at it's best.
