It's a great song and this woman has a magnificent voice. But inexplicably she has transposed the lines "take love easy" and "take life easy" which subtly changes the meaning of the song to me. In Yeats' poem and all other versions of the song that I've heard it's "love" in the first verse and "life" in the second verse. But it was obviously a conscious decision as the other woman sings the same thing. Maybe they wrote down the lyrics from memory and made a mistake? PS - It's Salley not Sally

Let's face it... Maura could sing a paper bag and bring you to tears...Anyone heard how she did 'Come back again mavourneen' with Dedanann back in the 80ies?...One of the most moving songs I have ever heard in my life...

howiej I have done this song for my voice class and it's REALLY easy to mess that part up - mostly because I get soooo into just producing the long, drawn notes that I find it hard to remember what I'm saying... haha
