People need to realize is that the concept of Empire is dead. It is pointless to try to rule others. It is nobody's duty to show another how to live, and it is nobody's responsibility to cultivate civilized nations out of those people whom we deem to be barbaric terrorists. People are impressionable. That is why they follow violent despots. If we could lead them in a peaceful way, and teach them to be confident in themselves as human beings, not as weapons, we shall have peace.

I'll agree to that any day. The Mahatma had the right idea, and where all wars may not be founded on the same principles, they break down to the same old blood n' guts.

When we are the only country to have military bases in 130+ different countries, and there are only 165 total in world? I call that colonization, when we invade Iraq for oil, colonization, when we go into Afghanistan(Leading producer of opium) heroin usage and production rises here by x% not sure how much, there is a whole lot more, but I hope those work

I agree with you. War isn't it great but war and peace can't really live without each other. I also have an example. The Middles East has never been at peace except when someone started a war and conquered everyone else. The Middle East has never created peace without war.

It won't. He and the Beatles have made the most impacts of any other artist. They were one of the number one contributes to the fall of the USSR. There image will never fall unless someone creates music as good as theirs and makes an impact as big as theirs.

I support drink induced rowdiness, as with the Boston Tea Party, and not drug induced pacifism.Imagine no more hippies. I am glad Mark David Chapman shot and killed John Lennon with a .38 calibre revolver. The assassination has saved new generations of youth from being exposed to a continuance of Lennon's intellectual output. Chapman is a true Catcher in the Rye.The memory of Lennon will fade with time.

America has never really "colonized" for the past 200 years. In still it wasn't true colonization. Colonization is using a country for your advantage. America has never ever done hard core colonization.
