As an Individual whos background is Indo-Carribean but raised up in Canada since early childhood, can not help but feel the conflict within ones soul with western values. Isolated and Feeling no connect to any other cultures and yet having a deep love, hate relationship with this country. Like many others in my position, one can not help but feel a deep connection and longing to stand true within oneself, by listening to this song.
