I think this english version of "100 Mann und ein Befehl" does not fit to the original message sung by Freddy Quinn. Here the green berets are described in their braveness, but the original german song clearly describes the bitterness of useless wars, with soldiers and friends dying far away from home, having wives or girlfriends there. Sorry, but in my opinion the serious content isn´t reflected.

He should really do a military salute at the end of the song instead of bowing

I was a green beret in the Finnish army. In Finland green berets are the special forces of the Navy unlike in USA where they are part of the land forces.
