Lol, I was laughing really hard when I first heard the English translation of the title of this song. In Norwegian it's called "Dovregubbens Hall", and Dovregubben is a troll lol. So who the heck is the Mountain King? xDAnd I've even been at Dovregubbens Hall (The hall of the Mountain king if you prefer the English title) and it's located in Norway. (and yes, I was born and I'm still living in Norway :D) ^^But I love this song though. I got really scared each time I heard it when I was a kid.
