i first heard this song at a funeral for a friend who was murdered in cold blood. this song was being played as background music to a video of this young black man(31)holding his newborn daughter and dancing with her. there was not a dry eye in the church. now, i love this song even though it makes me cry.

Sorry I disagree. U2 in NOT a pop group, they hate POP, hence during their "POP" era they were making fun of it.U2 is a Rock Band. Have you ever heard Bono call himself a Pop Star?
