as for the raconteurs/white stripes debate....i love both bands and WS is such an amazing band, just how they work. meg can practically foresee what jacks about to play, but her simplicity fits the whole blues thing...raconteurs lets jack run with his guitar a bit, which is why they're so AMAZING live.

There's no comparison. The White Stripes were cool because of Jack but he couldn't do all that he was capable of. With this band of great musicians he can. These guys are good. Much better than Meg. She was a gimmick with big boobs that's all.

I disagree.White Stripes are good, and theyre like.. a band that other bands look up to.But this band, everyone's amazing, Brenden is a better singer than Jack IMO, and theyre both good at guitar. The songs are all thoughtful, have great drum and bass parts, as well as extra keyboard and trumpet parts.White stripes were good, but I think Raconteurs is just on a completely different level.I've seen both live.

he is still in the stripes its 50/50 apparently but meg white is just having seizures and shit lately

It took them alot longer to get famours then people think. They have been playing together while Jack was still in the stripes. But once he made them his full time gig is when they became well known. But they did rise much faster then most bands. And I think every member of this band is underrated. They are seen just as indie musicians. But if you realy look at them they all can play their instruments extremly well. And Jack can shred.

anyone know the notes for the trumpet part on this song?? i really need them

No ones underrating them...They got famous at the drop of a hat bc of jack white, and still remain a big band...Blind Melon is one of the most underrated bands ever. They have more music than 'No Rain'... |
